Information Collection and its Use

APBS.org uses Google Analytics to capture anonymous web traffic data and navigation patterns on our website. Collecting this anonymous website usage data helps APBS understand our audience and provide a more meaningful and targeted experience for visitors to our website. Google Analytics does not use, and APBS does not send to Google Analytics, personally identifiable information (e.g., name, email address). Google Analytics does collect IP Address and device (e.g., mobile, desktop, web browser) information from visitors to our website to help us better understand our audience. In addition, APBS uses Google Analytics to track resources that are being downloaded from our website (e.g., template forms, conference presentation slide-sets) so that we can assess the relative popularity of the tools and resources we offer.

Survey/Feedback

From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes site usefulness and content satisfaction.
