To be a member of the Association for Positive Behavior Support (APBS) is to be part of a vibrant and collaborative community of multidisciplinary professionals dedicated to advancing positive behavior support across the lifespan. Members have access to specialized programs, networking, tools, resources, and so much more.
Gain a community of lifelong friends from around the world who help you grow, share practical insights, and leave a lasting impact on the world.
APBS’s 20+ years of knowledge and expertise enables, empowers, and equips professionals in human services, mental health services, K-12 education, and higher education working to advance the practices of positive behavior support (PBS), Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) in the home, community, and/or school settings. Keep pace with a changing industry by attending our annual conference and staying up to date on the latest research and trends in PBS, all while receiving exclusive member rates and content.
Strengthen and empower your entire team. Consider the benefits of a group membership plan. Ensure your team has access to informative, skill-building resources essential to maintaining sustainable, productive, and successful PBS teams. In addition, agency membership allows 3 individuals to register for APBS events at member-discounted rates. APBS’s group membership plan offers the convenience of a single annual billing statement. (One individual serves as the point of contact.) Contact member services to find out more about an agency membership at info@apbs.org
Note: *All memberships within the agency discount plan are billed through one invoice annually and must be paid with one check or credit card. Multiple forms of payment cannot be accepted. All group members belong to the organization, not the individual.
Tap into the knowledge and network that can give you a big head start on your career in positive behavior support. To be eligible for APBS student membership, individuals must be enrolled in an accredited college or university. Students will need to complete verification of their eligibility status.
Imagine having a private, all-in-one community of parents, guardians, siblings, grandparents, or self-advocates who are not working professionally in the field of PBS but are interested in learning about positive behavior support in home, community, and/or school settings to help champion the unique needs of families. The family community is a place where you can ask questions, meet with other parents, and learn the best ways to evaluate what your family needs and how to make it all happen by leveraging positive behavior support strategies and interventions. This membership is for those individuals who do not work in the following fields: Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), or multi-tiered systems of supports (MTSS).
Where two roles intersect, APBS is here to support you! You have a unique perspective as a professional in positive behavior support and as a family member wanting to support your loved one. APBS is your one-stop shop for the resources you need to be successful in your career and at home.
