The 21st International Conference on Positive Behavior Support has a limited number of volunteer opportunities. These opportunities exist Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, March 6-9, 2024. Volunteers agree to perform a maximum of six (6) hours of volunteer time in exchange for free conference registration. Free conference registration covers only the main conference on Thursday and Friday. Pre- and Post-Conference workshops fees are waived only for those volunteers assigned to those workshops.
Volunteer opportunities include: Conference check-in, Registration/Information Desk, Greeter/Usher, Session Host, and assisting with the Poster Session & Reception.

Description of Volunteer Opportunities
Conference check-in: Volunteer Assignments occur throughout the day on Wednesday, and early morning on Thursday. Duties include but are not limited to: Staffing of check-in area; Assisting attendees with name tag printing and picking up lanyard and holder; Replenishing supplies; and Answering questions.
Registration/Information Desk: Volunteer Assignments occur on Thursday and Friday; Duties include but are not limited to: Staffing Registration/Information Desk; Assisting attendees with printing/reprinting name tag; Replenishing supplies; and Answering questions.
Greeting/Ushering: Volunteer Assignments occur on Thursday and Friday; Duties include but are not limited to: Assisting attendees with finding location of conference activities; Assisting attendees with finding seats in sessions; Closing sessions when capacity is reached; Ensuring additional attendees do not enter a closed session; and Assisting attendees in choosing alternate sessions when a room has reached capacity.
Session Hosting: Volunteer Assignments occur Wednesday (for Workshops), Thursday and Friday (for Breakouts), and Saturday (for Workshops); Duties include but are not limited to: Assisting presenters as needed; Assisting attendees in finding seats in sessions; Closing sessions when capacity is reached; and Assisting attendees in choosing alternate sessions when a room has reached capacity; Assisting attendees earning CEUs with their check-in and check-out process, and Submitting a session head-count to conference staff.
Assisting with the Poster Session & Reception: Volunteer Assignment occurs either Thursday afternoon or Thursday evening; Duties include but are not limited to: Assisting poster presenters with set up; Assisting attendees with locating the poster session; Assisting attendees with entering the session.
